I remember going to parades in Blaine Hill in the early 80's as a Library VFC jr. I still have a mirror I won at one of your carnivals...lol. I'm a member of an FD in Eastern Long Island NY now. Nice site you have hear.

I would like to thank everyone for the great comments regarding our fair and parade. We try hard all year long to put on a great community day week and with the weather cooperating this year, it was a huge success. We couldn't have done it without the support of our residents and visitors. Thank You!!!
Also I would like to comment on the visitor dustyg regarding an out of state fire company on our website. Brotherhood of firefighting goes deep in our job and state lines show no boundaries. Benwood Fire Department of West Virginia supports every function that we have. They have attended every carnival the last few years and their firemen attends dances and other fund raising functions that we have. We also support the Benwood Fire Department with their fund raising efforts by attending and assisting them when in need. We even have a campaign with this department and have a slogan "Brotherhood across State Lines". It shows what all volunteer firemen belief in. I want to say thanks you to all you guys to for the community the fair was awesome better than last year the food was great also congrats to them too they ndid a great job as well as all the firemen/women who where involved the best fair we will be back next year dont change anything food,rides,games coodles to all.
